Description | I wanted to make a hand drawn print series inspired by my upbringing in Swedish Lapland. The prints draw aesthetics from objects, places and influences around me; cross crochet pot coasters made in school as a youngster, the Icehotel, the iconic Lapponian gate located near Abisko, Sweden, as well as Sami culture and handicraft.

01. Grytlappen
Inspired by needlework oven mitts we made in school as youngsters (in the 90's).

02. Lapporten
The Lapponian gate illustrated with Sámi pattern in the background. One of the most beautiful sights of north Sweden.

03. Istappen
Icicle design inspired by the logotype of Icehotel – a hotel of ice rebuilt every winter in a new fashion. A highly sought after experience by tourists. We went each year by snowmobile when I was young.
